Map index & linked controls 1 · Message source First establish which messages you are looking at. Item fields feed filters and formatting; changing these fields changes data.
Controls / VBA / dependencies Restrictions 2 · Active view The active window selects a view. That view owns several independent settings below; it is not a universal precedence rule.
